Step Up! Or “Youth Synod” is an event that runs alongside the Yorkshire North and East Methodist district synod for the young people of our district in April and September. It gives young people the opportunity to meet others and discuss issues which are important to them, worship God, have fun and get involved in synod discussions too.
We explore the big questions through prayer, worship, workshops and discussions, we compare our stories and share our experience of life and God, sometimes spending time in main synod or inviting some of their members to come and join in our activities.
Step Up! Is open to anyone aged between 11 and 23.
